Hello, what is it that you’re really passionate about?
What gets you excited when you wake up in the morning?
I ask this question to lots of my clients and sometimes a blank look is what greets my question. But surely the reason we work for ourselves, the reason we’re in business is because we love what we do. Sure, there’s always clients who we like less than others and difficult days, particularly when the world’s a bit of a strange place.
But overall, if there isn’t at least one thing that you do every day in your business that really infuses you and fills your heart with joy. Then is it time to rethink things? Is it time to go back to the drawing board? Is it time to ask yourself what gets you really excited and how can you make that into an element of your everyday life in your business?
For me, it’s pretty simple. It’s working on my content, my courses.
I absolutely love doing that. It’s hard work, but I absolutely love it because I make such a difference. I really like working one-to-one with clients and seeing a difference that what I’ve helped with on their social media strategy and the guidance I’ve given them that has just made them think, oh yeah, and see the different way forward. I have to love it. I’m really passionate about it. If you don’t feel the same about your business, then think of the elements that you do get fired up about – make those the primary thing that you do every day so that your heart is just filled with joy, your enthusiasm is infectious, and as a result, you get more clients buying the services or products that you absolutely love.
It’s a simple formula, but one that really if you ask yourself the question, what gets you excited will make a big difference to your business.
